AICS Magazine Compatibility
These Chassis magazines are designed specifically to work with specific XLR Chassis models with a 3.850" length magwel. These will likely NOT work with other chassis systems or stocks that use standard AICS or M5 DBM bottom metal.

Detachable Box Magazine (DBM) systems have positive and negative traits about them. For hunting some of the negatives have always been the bulkiness and weight the magazine adds to the hunting rifle. XLR chassis systems have the DBM system machined into the chassis, preventing the additional weight of the bottom metal itself, but rifle hunters still had to get by with traditional AICS magazines like the Accurate brand magazines XLR carries. That is until 2025 when XLR worked with Snowy Mountain Rifles on producing a lightweight first of its kind long action 3.850" AICS magazine that is compatible with the Element 4.0 and ATOM chassis systems.
