STEPS FOR BUYING A FIREARM/ACTION ONLINE FROM PEDERSON PRECISION LLC

STEP 1 - Select a firearm or action and add it to your online shopping cart. All firearm actions, barreled actions, and serialized-stripped receivers require us to ship that item to a valid FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee).

STEP 2 - It is a good idea to notify your local FFL first that you intend to have an FFL item (action/receiver/firearm) shipped to their FFL address to make sure someone will be there to receive it and that you have authorization from that FFL to do so. Receiving Dealers will charge what is called a transfer fee. This is set by them and is not billed by us. This is their fee for receiving the transfer and completing the necessary paperwork. We recommend you ask your local FFL dealer what their transfer fee is ahead of time, so there are no surprises. Most transfer fees range from $20 to $50, but this varies by dealer. Also, they may charge that fee for each action/firearm if you order multiple items.

STEP 3 - Purchase the action/firearm via our online checkout using a credit/debit card.

STEP 4 - Ask your local FFL to email us a digital copy of their valid FFL to: sales.pedersonprecision.com

We MUST receive their valid FFL before we ship out any FFL regulated item (action/receiver/firearm).

 - PER ATF Requirements we must receive a copy of the dealer’s FFL license we are shipping the action/firearm to.      Please have your local dealer email their FFL (Federal Firearms License) to sales.pedersonprecision@gmail.com with your order number in the email header. We do not reach out to the receiving licensed FFL dealers, unless you absolutely need us to. In that case, please provide your order number and their email address and email it to sales.pedersonprecision@gmail.com and ask us to request their license.

- NOTICE: You may receive several emails if we have not received a valid digital copy of your local dealer’s FFL. We will verify that the FFL received is valid by conducting a search and verification via ATF’s online database. If you receive these emails this means we do not have their license or they have been sent to us in a format that is not searchable, or unable to be opened, please carefully read these instructions to ensure your FFL item will ship in a fast manner. If we do not receive FFL within 5 business days, we reserve the right to cancel/refund your order and may charge a cancellation fee of 10% of the order price.

STEP 5 – Once your local FFL has been verified, we will ship the action/firearm to your local FFL dealer and will send you email(s) with the tracking information. We ship firearms/actions fully insured via UPS.

STEP 6 - The action/firearm is delivered to your selected receiving dealer/FFL and they check it in. Your local FFL dealer will typically call, text, or email you when your item is ready to be transferred to you. Please allow a day or two waiting period for their phone call, text, or email. Just because it arrives at the receiving dealer does not mean they have had the time to check it in and properly and file the paperwork.

STEP 7 - You go to the receiving FFL dealer, inspect the action/firearm, “Accept the Transfer”, pay the receiving dealer their FFL transfer fee, complete the required paperwork, and leave with your FFL item.

STEP 8 - Take the action/firearm home, read the manufacturer manual if one is included, clean/lubricate as directed by the manufacturer to remove any preservative oils, be responsible, be safe, and enjoy!

NOTICE - ALL FIREARM PURCHASES ARE FINAL, If the background check is failed, and the item is returned we will charge a 10% re-stocking fee. We do not accept firearm returns for any reason after they have been transferred to someone.
